If you don’t know Sherron Sheppard’s work, then you are in for a treat the first time you visit her Photographic Fine Art Gallery. Sherron Sheppard transitioned into photography 13 years ago after many years as a traditional artist. As an artist, Sherron taught watercolor techniques for fifteen years and was a seasonal instructor for eight years teaching watercolor painting at Yosemite National Park.
I experienced her work through the Ventura County Camera Club where she has often provided workshops and critique. Each image she creates is a combination of photography and digital painting. When nature doesn’t give her the lighting or composition that she is after, she creates it herself. This on-line course introduces her techniques and ideas.
